AMSTERDAM Canadian rock singer “Dirty Beaches” and the Dutch band “zZz” will perform at the upcoming edition of the Amsterdam Museum Night, Dutch media reported Wednesday.

These artists are the first of many DJ’s, theatre performers, dance groups and musicians expected to participate in the annual event that will be held this year on Nov. 5.

“Dirty Beaches” is a stage name for Alex Zhang Hungtai, a Taiwanese-born Canadian singer.

The rest of the program will be announced four weeks prior to the night.

The popular event takes place every year on the first Saturday of November.

During the festivities, visitors can attend many activities and events in the museums as well as other locations in Amsterdam.

Tickets can be purchased at the beginning of October in the ticket service points in Amsterdam (Uitburo) and at the Amsterdam tourist office (VVV) and include entrance to the full program.

Last year’s event was a major success. It was sold out and attracted over 26,000 visitors.
